OOCA 1

Today is Thursday, I understand that all of you had a busy week and it is the first week back. It was very nice getting to know you and watching you go through the first week in semester two. Let's review.

Class 1: I gave an introductory lesson and we opened a Blog. Some made a post.

Class 2: Down loaded a Ted Talks video and watched it.

Class 3: Extraordinary People - watched video again and began to look at the main ideas.

Class 4: Presentation on Power Point: Started to make a power point about an Extraordinary Person.

Class 5: OOCA

Go to the Blog once again. Go to the title OOCA 1. If you have not made one then make
one. If you forgot your password then get a new one.

Do the following and post it on the blog:

a) A very quick introduction. Write your name and your interests (two or three hobbies
is fine).
b) Write the title of the Ted Talks video you watched, and the person your made a
Power Point about.
c) Tell me what your plans are for the weekend.

Now go have a good weekend. This must be complete and in the Blog to be marked present for today's class.

Regards

Steve

Day Two: Extraordinary People

Watch a Ted Talks Video and take down some notes. When you are done write a short passage. Tell me 1) who was speaking, 2) what they were talking about, 3) what was most interesting, 4) why are their ideas important.

Let's do the first post together. State three things that interest you and say why:
